General Info
Skiathos has been very special to the both of us. Jon grew up here (and in Athens) and we have visited the Island many times in the 8 years we are together. It will be such an honour to have our dearest family and friends there with us on our special occasion.
Over the course of the few days, we will take you to some of our favourite places but, there will never be enough time to show you everything the island has to offer. All the venues for the wedding take place on the Kanapitsa Peninsula - dark blue circle on the map above.
Click the button below to open an interactive Google map marked with some our favorite spots should you have any additional time to explore on your visit.

The Island
Skiathos, one of the most scenic and verdant Greek islands, owes its evergreen look to the trees scattered all over the place. It is only 12km by 6km but what gives Skiathos this charming and attractive character, is its impressive coastline. There are more than 60 awe-inspiring beaches with white or golden, soft sand and crystal clear waters.
The sublime scenery is highlighted by the history of the island and the hospitality of its people. Skiathos is like a piece of jewelry of the Aegean Sea!
The island has a long history starting from the pre-historic era and continuing to the Classical, Byzantine and Venetian period. The majority of the monuments of the island are Byzantine churches and monasteries. Among the most popular sights are the Bourtzi Fortress and the Medieval Castle of the Old Town.
